John Oliver: The Mittens of Disapproval Are On (Video)

So John Oliver keep to his word and bought airtime on our very own CCN TV6 to target his message directly to the embattled man of the hour, Mr. Jack Warner.  I must admit that there were some comical moments of the TV spot, like John's use of "trini slang" but if you look at it from the perspective of a Trinidad and Tobago citizen, a patriot, a true Trini, the TV spot was on the side of being borderline offensive.  It is obvious that his message to Mr. Warner will go unheeded but this too shows to the scope that the Jack Warner FIFA scandal has brought Trinidad and Tobago into the global spotlight and not in a good way.
